Rajagiri College of Social Sciences Extracurricular Activities:

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi, is not only known for its excellence in academics but also for its extracurricular activities. Students are actively encouraged to participate in various programmes organised by RCSS and other institutes. The following activities are offered by the institute to help promote the holistic development of students.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Sports: 

Sports and games at RCSS are a way of perseverance, personal growth, and companionship. RCSS College, Kerala, being a firm believer in holistic growth, offers opportunities for students to enhance their physical abilities while nurturing teamwork, leadership, and discipline among them.

 RCSS conducts events and competitions throughout the year, providing sports enthusiasts with opportunities to participate and showcase their talents. Moreover, committed sports clubs train students in their respective sports and prepare them for intercollegiate tournaments and other activities. Some of these sports activities include football, basketball, roller sports, and fencing.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences Cultural Activities:

1. Euphoria:

Euphoria is a national-level cultural and technical fest of RCSS. It is organised by the computer science students with strong support from the department, management, as well as the alumni of the computer science branch. The inter-collegiate fest features a wide variety of technical and non-technical competitions, offering cash prizes of more than two lakhs. The winners of the technical event receive job offers from multinational companies, which is the major highlight of this fest.

2. Inflore:

Inflore is the annual inter-college management fest consisting of 18 management and non-management events. Some events include Corporate Walk, Best Manager, Best Management Team, and more. The fest serves as a platform for students from numerous business schools across the country to demonstrate their strengths and talents by encouraging them to participate in the events mentioned above.

3. Splendore:

Splendore, the theme-based inter-school and collegiate fest of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, is a two-day event that focuses on showcasing the talents of higher secondary school and graduate students. The event is coordinated by the Department of Social Work, Commerce, Business Administration and Psychology. Numerous events, including ‘Treasure Hunt’, ‘Mock Press’. ‘Spell Bee’, ‘Dance’ and more take place, allowing participants to display their talents, foster team spirit, and win prizes.

1. Rotaract Club:

The Rotaract Club of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, was started in 2006. It is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cochin Beach Side and is affiliated with Rotary International. The club aims to nurture leadership and professional skills in young women and men, while also fostering friendship and service by supporting the needs of communities and promoting healthy relationships among them. The Rotaract Club of RCSS has won numerous awards, such as the Best 20 Projects, the Navaratna President and more.

2. FINCOR Club:

Fincor Club is the financial club of RCSS. The club brings together students who share a mutual interest in finance and investment strategies, with an aim to promote the accounting profession and build social skills among them. The club receives support from faculty members and professionals in the field to ensure the students obtain relevant knowledge in the finance domain.

3. Biodiversity Club:

The Biodiversity Club of RCSS is registered under the Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB). The club conducts numerous activities and programmes to raise awareness among students about environmental conservation and sustainable practices. It also hosts events such as seminars, workshops, quizzes, symposia, photo/reel competitions related to biodiversity, field visits and more to support the awareness drive.
