Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 Registrations Extended

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially extended the registration deadline for JEE Advanced 2026. As per the latest update on the official website, candidates can now complete their application process by 11:59 PM on May 5, 2026.

Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2026 are eligible to register for the examination. Applicants are strongly advised to finish their registration well before the deadline, ensuring that the application fee is successfully paid, as incomplete applications will not be considered.

JEE Advanced 2026 is scheduled to be held on May 17, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be conducted in two shifts, with Paper 1 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Advanced website and navigate to the ‘Important Announcements’ section available on the homepage.

Step 2: Click on the link titled ‘Online Registration for JEE (Advanced) 2026’. This will open the candidate login portal for eligible applicants.

Step 3: Enter your JEE (Main) 2026 Application Number, Password, and the Security Pin displayed on the screen. After entering the details correctly, click on the ‘Login’ button to proceed.

Step 4: Once logged in, review the pre-filled information carefully, complete the remaining required details, and upload the necessary documents as instructed. After verifying all the information, proceed to pay the registration fee using the available online payment options.
