Source: Official website of KEA The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the schedule for the first round of Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 counselling on June 20, 2026. The option entry process is currently underway, allowing eligible candidates to submit their course and college preferences through the official KEA website. As part of the counselling process, a mock seat allotment result will be released to help candidates make informed decisions. Based on this mock result, candidates will be given a window to revise their preferences by adding, removing, modifying, or reordering their options. Following this, the final seat allotment result for Round 1 will be published. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges as per the official instructions to confirm their admissions. KEA advises all candidates to carefully review the seat matrix and regularly check the official website for updates and important notifications related to counselling. Step 1: Visit the official KEA website. Step 2: Under the ‘Admissions’ tab, click on ‘UGCET - 2026’. Step 3: Click on the link labelled as ‘UGCET - 2026 Option Entry Link’ Step 4: The candidates can either log in by scanning the QR code on the verification slip or with CET no. Step 5: Candidates logging in with CET no. must enter the login credentials like ‘Application No’, ‘Option Entry CET NO’, ‘Captcha’ and click on ‘Send OTP’.
